I had one, had a lot of trouble with it, and let it sit unused for a number of years -- but I've been using my Keeper again over the past six months or so, and I have to say it is doubleplusgood. I'll need to get a new one in a year or two -- but Keepers and MoonCups are good for ten years, not just one. Hurrah for menstrual cups. That's changed since I started using it--when it said 10 years. In many cases, I've heard of people using them for longer. Of course you have to keep it clean, not over-boil, etc. I think I would still buy it even if I had to replace every year, they're just that convenient. Interesting. I think $30 a year is much more than I currently spend on that sort of lady product per year, so I'm still on the fence.
