Win Tax Cut and/or Quicken Home and Business

There’s still a month and a half left until taxes must be sent in, but why not get it over in plenty of time? If you’re putting them off because you hate doing them by hand or because you haven’t found a good deal on tax software yet, Aryn of Sound Money Matters has something for you. She’s giving away three free copies of TaxCut’s tax software. (note, this giveaway is run entirely by Sound Money Matters, you must enter there to win.)

Or if you’re interested in using Quicken, Flexo at Consumerism Commentary is giving away a 2009 copy of Quicken Home and Business. If you’re looking for a powerful financial tool, Quicken definitely fits the bill. I find it often a bit too complex for my needs, but it’s great at helping you get all your finances in one place. (note, this giveaway is run entirely by Consumerism Commentary, you must enter there to win.)

I’ll be doing my taxes tonight, by hand even (though it’s not so great a feat as in the US — our tax forms are quite comprehensible). Usually I netfile with the rest of the family, but we’ve not got the software yet — and my return will be big enough that I’d like to have it as soon as possible!

Good luck, Christine! I’d like to see those Canadian forms sometime.
