Congrats on the new job!

I will also be starting a new library job myself in January, and I'm hoping that library work will be the career I've been looking for. I never considered it until I started working in a bookstore last year while trying to figure out what to do about my master's program (which I have unofficially quit).

I never had considered it before and I don't know why-library science seems to be a great fit for my interest and skills.

Congrats again!

Congrats! You're so lucky; I've always wanted to work at a library. Our local branch is tiny and never hiring. Have fun!

Excellent work! This is great news.

With an academic in the family, librarianship is a top-notch occupation. You can usually get a job wherever he can land a faculty position.

Congratulations, that's great!

In these economic times, a position with benefits and a steady wage is a great asset. And you seem to be really excited, which is awesome.

Good job!
