Something to remember with the coming winter and people scrimping more for the necessities is that your local foodbank is running dry. If you have it in your budget, do them a kindness and drop off a sack.

Via the blogosphere, my sister and I recently got a urgent message from our local foodbank courtesy of another blogger – they were out of canned and dried goods completely!

Since my tax refund had (finally) come in, she and I went shopping and took them ten or so bags of canned goods and dried goods for their stores. It won’t feed a nation, but it’ll feed someone.
