Well, if things are going as they should, I should be at or arriving in Michigan right about now. We’re spending a week there visiting Micah’s grandparents and I’m very excited about the trip and about the break. His brother and SIL will also be coming and we’ll be carpooling up with his younger sister. Fortunately, I like all these relatives, so I’m looking forward to it.
The house is beautiful, on the water, and looks peaceful. I’ve done some writing ahead, so there will be posts here at least some days. And I may write while I’m gone. Or not. I exercise my right to do whichever makes me happy.
Here’s a little link-love for your Sunday morning.
My Two Dollars outlines a way to pay off debt and save money at the same time. If even the minimum payments seem like too much, it’s a good strategy.
Patrick at Cash Money Life encourages us to get contracts in writing. Your word may be your bond, but it’s hard to prove an oral contract.
For the entrepreneurs in all of us, Gibble outlines how to create an online store. It’s really not that hard.
AJ from the Guppie Life writes about rechanneling anxiety to actually feel better. This post really resonated with me. Too often “comfort” activities just lead to more anxiety afterwards. (Note, this post uses, um…strong language imagery? Anyway, if that might offend you, you might as well not read it.)
And Paid Twice explains how to use benchmark per-unit prices to streamline comparison shopping.
That’s all for today, folks, happy Sunday!
