Submit to PFBuzz.comI’ve added this new little “PF Buzz” icon below my posts. It’s something that Pinyo of Moolanomy just put together…like a Digg for Personal Finance topics.

Why?

Pinyo covers the details in his official launch post. Here’s his mission:

There are a lot of good personal finance blogs out there. You probably heard about the highly successful ones like Get Rich Slowly and The Simple Dollarand a handful of others – but there are a lot of great blogs that you may never even heard of before. With PF Buzz, I am hoping to give all personal finance bloggers another venue for promoting their blogs and articles.

It’s a way to discover blogs through their quality articles. I periodically go over the pfblogs.org and see what’s new, but while that’s a great resource it only ranks posts by recency. Good for an aggregator, just not always useful in discovering new blogs. I’m hoping that the voting won’t be as crazy as on Digg, where it’s easy for one or two powerful users to kill upcoming articles. But that the voting will still reflect the quality of the article.

I put the icons on my blog so you can easily submit any post to PF Buzz (though you’ll need an account). Or if you’d like to start submitting various people’s articles on a regular basis, you can always drag this link: PF Buzz It! to your bookmarks. It has all the magic javascript in it to open the PFBuzz submission page in a new window AND populate some of the fields.

I don’t anticipate being a heavy user, but I probably will pop over there once or twice a day to see what’s new. And I’ll be submitting posts, too, since having the PF Buzz It! in my browser bookmark bar makes it so easy.

Cool. I will have to add this icon to my blog. This could become a very useful marketing tool.

It is pretty good, everyone seems to be talking about it. I keep forgetting about it, but all the blogs keep reminding me of it, so it works out.

I certainly like the innovation Pinyo puts in his products for sure! I’ve tossed a few articles that way myself, interested to see how it cooks!
