Not being a Christian myself, I was wary of the book because it's written by one, but my mom and sister loved it, and so I am giving it a shot... and I completely LOVE it. The author has some incredible insights and has been very forthcoming about his beliefs and in observations on faith in general. I have found it very uplifting and intriguing, and reflecting many of my own spiritual beliefs back to me.
