My name is Howard and I'm the President of Coco Myles and I just want to let anyone who may be reading this to know the following.

All of our dresses are inspected prior to shipping to make sure they're within 1/2" of the specifications we list on our site. Since we operate entirely online, we know that sizing is of critical importance to our customers. If someone's top measurement varies significantly from their bottom measurement, then we do advise customers that we can make the top and bottom in two different sizes for an additional $20.00 charge. We also recommend that customers size themselves based on the dress specifications we provide online rather than the size they're used to buying since this may vary.

Our return policy is stated on our site. In short, we allow returns for any reason whatsoever so long as we're advised shortly after receiving the dress that you wish to return or exchange it.

We checked our records to see what issues or complaints we have had from a Tiffany over the past year and we could not locate anything related to the above.

I hope this doesn't come across too heavy-handed, and I realize that it's difficult to make every single customer 100% happy, but I did want anyone reading this to know that we do our best to make great dresses and to provide the best in customer service. Inevitably, issues do arise and if we're notified about them, we'll do whatever we can to resolve them to our customers' satisfaction. We realize we're dealing with people's weddings and we take that responsibility very seriously. We'll always go out of our way to do what we can -- this is the cornerstone of our business and, we believe, one of the things that sets us apart from other retailers. Hopefully, if you're interested in using us, you'll take the time to read the positive testimonials on our site, or elsewhere on the web, that attest to the quality of our dresses and service. Thanks.

Coco Myles is not worth the money. I have recently been a bridesmaid who was asked to buy the dress from this company. First, the sizes are completely off. In order for the dress to fit in one area, it was going to be five inches too big in another. And this wasn't just my body being different. The other girls had similar problems. Second, the dress was poorly made. The seams did not line up and the fabric was not cut right. Third, their return policy is horrible. And lastly, I could have gotten a dress from David's Bridal for around the same price (maybe $20 more) and been able to try the dress on. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I had a horrible experience with them. If my mom had not been able to sew, I don't know what I would have done. Save yourselves the time, frustration, and money and buy the dress from a store.

OK..I will be the guy here :)

The bridesmaid thing is really tough on people. It is too bad single look option, like tuxes w/ a slight tie or cumberbun change.

@Becky, I feel like I've been to a lot of weddings in the last few years and they seem to just be variations on a theme. It's not necessarily bad, but for some people it feels like they're putting a round peg (themselves) into a square hole (the wedding).

<i>"If you need need need a bridesmaid dress that looks conventional and like every other wedding"</i>

He, he, I love it :) This is exactly my problem with bridesmaid dresses. Somehow brides have been completely duped by commercialism. Have some originality, ladies! :)

In the UK, for a retail dress, £60 to £75 wouldn't be too bad. I was in town just today looking at some of the (very nice) dresses in the shops - I'd say the regular prices were more like £80 to £120 ($160 to $240).

You can certainly get them cheaper, but it's still better than mid-priced.

A friend of mine had a wedding where all the bridesmaids simply picked out any tasteful black dress they could find. It looked wonderful! Some of the gals bought clearance prom dresses and some bought off the rack from Ross.

That's a good idea, Susan. I think Coco Myles is not unlike a warehouse factory...the site markets itself as saving money by not having to go through a secondary retailer. I bet there are cheaper ones, though.

I think for flower girls in particular, it's much better to sew. They'll grow out of it quite quickly and are thus even less likely than bridesmaids to reuse it. Plus, simple patterns and fabrics can really bring down the price. Cuteness counts more than fanciness. And they don't have to match.

Hmm... What about ordering directly from a warehouse/factory? You'd have to do it online, so colors and the fit could be tricky. Still, that might bring the price down signifiantly.

If someone in the family can sew, that may be a good option, especially for a younger girl. I was a flower girl for my cousin's wedding when I was about 8 years old. My mom made my dress, and it worked wonderfully and saved money! :)
