Hi to all the new subscribers!

One of the many things I’m thankful for is my readers. It’s really fun to post and know that there’s going to be conversation and that what I write may even be useful to people. Plus, you help keep me accountable. πŸ™‚

I’ve noticed a jump of about 20 new subscribers in the last 3 weeks. Hi, and welcome! (I’m hoping you’re real people and not just feed scrapers πŸ˜‰ )

And to my long-time subscribers–thanks so much, it’s great that you’ve stuck around.

And to my middle-length subscribers–yay, I like you too!

I’m now going to learn how to cook a duck! My family has two Thanksgivings, one with each side of the family. And I get to cook the ceremonial duck (which is even better than turkey!). Wish me duck luck! πŸ˜‰

I’m a real person and I enjoy your posts. Good luck with the duck. I had Bar-B-Que duck burrito once; it was delicious.

Hi Dan real person, I know who you are. πŸ™‚ The duck turned out really yummy! I “basted” it inside and out with a mixture of salt, pepper, and sage. Put a sliced apple inside.

Ah…the “.info” feed scrapers…very annoying.

Duck tastes better than turkey…I never actually eat the turkey on Thanksgiving…too dry for me. I think it’s mainly for show πŸ™‚

I didn’t like turkey until a couple years ago. The dark meat is best because it’s not as dry. Duck is still better. πŸ™‚

You would like my turkey I keep a very close eye on it because I LOVE moist white meat and if done PROPERLY it is not dry…hehehe!! I won’t let my mommy cook it anymore πŸ˜‰
