Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! I know this is an American holiday, but for those in other countries there’s no reason not to take a moment to be thankful anyway. π
Just a couple words on thankfulness this morning. Perhaps appreciation is a better term. Tomorrow we’re supposed to go tearing off to the shops at ungodly hours to buy buy buy. Perhaps we can make wiser decisions by considering today how much we really need and how much is luxury.
And let’s not forget to be thankful throughout the year for all the good things we already have. Do we need more? Let’s start by enjoying and appreciating what we’ve got.
What am I most thankful for today? Well, I’m thankful for Micah, that we got married those 4.5 months ago, that he’s a great husband. This is our first Thanksgiving together. π I’m also very thankful that my mom is still alive, since she went into the hospital for major surgery just 3 years ago this week and was diagnosed with terminal cancer.
P.S. For a “real post” click here to read Curtis’s guest post about buying cars (if you haven’t already). Some good points!

Happy belated Thanksgiving! I admire your dedication and commitment to your blog! It’s quite inspiring – watching you add to the blog motivates me to get something like that done soon if I can lift myself out of this funk!
Thanks, sfordinarygirl. π Good luck getting out of that funk.
