First iPod cases are up!

by Mrs. Micah on November 9, 2007 by Mrs. Micah · alternative income & freelance · 6 Comments

My first iPod cases are listed on my Etsy store. So be sure to check them out, make suggestions for future cases (like applique designs), etc! Thanks! :)

This is my favorite one, going for only $15 + $1.50 s&h. :)

(P.S. I’m nervous about this because I’m having a hard time finding a place take the pictures and getting the lighting right. Plus the digital camera isn’t mine…so I only get to borrow it *sigh*)

Cute! Mrs. Micah, if you’re going into the craft biz, I highly recommend the Switchboards forums as a great place to network and get support and advice from others who make handmade goods for a living: http://www.theswitchboards.com/forum/index.php

There are some great posts about photography; here’s one:

Very Cute! You did a great job!

Very cute! I highly recommend getting something like a white sheet, draping it over a chair and photographing it on that. It will look much better – the flash reflects and blends the white out and makes it look like a professional photograph.

Keep at it though.

Thanks for the encouragement and advice, everyone!

Lisa, those look like a great place to network about this.

You’re right about the sheet Brip Blap, now I just have to figure out if I have any plain white sheets. I probably have plain white muslin–maybe even in big enough pieces.
